Digital art tests

I’ve been interested in creating art completely digitally since getting my Wacom tablet last year but never took the time to try it out. After getting frustrated with three brand new Sharpie fine line pens acting up while working on this week’s page, I’ve decided to make some time. Here are some test images I worked up last night and a sneak peek at the next Stealth comic page which I’ve decided will be 100 percent digital. The penciling process actually seems to be a bit better than how I normally do working in the traditional manner, I find myself working in a much looser and free style, I normally do very tight pencils and am very tense on the page. The ink tests here are in Photoshop, I’m not not sure if I’ll end up inking the page in Photoshop or Illustrator.

Thank you very much 🙂 ! Practice, practice, practice- that’s what it’s all about, you never know what you could be capable of doing! What kind of tablet do you have, if you don’t mind me asking?

Hey, what size Wacom do you have? I still have an Intuos 3 4×6, but am considering moving up, and I’m a lefty.

The same, Intuos 3 4×6. What are you looking at getting, a Cintiq or a larger Intuos?
