Gareb Shamus, CEO of Wizard has bought the small Atlanta Comic Convention, and has renamed it Atlanta Comic Con Wizard World Convention to fit alongside the growing line of bought/created convention under the Wizard World banner and turned it from a one day show into a three day convention.

I plan on trying to get out to one of the local conventions this year, depending on when this one is scheduled I might go to it.

Supposedly its going to be some time in July. If you haven’t heard about it, check out OnyxCon in August.

I was at the OnyxCon last August and it was one of my favorite shows so far.
