Apologies for the late update, let this be an example of why you should always take care of something when you have time to take care of it and not put it off for later- I actually was going to do my last minute edits and upload the page last night but put it off for this morning only to have a rash of other stuff get in the way. Oh well, it’s up now and that’s the most important thing
. So, here we are meeting another new face but as you can clearly see, it’s not a new face for Allen, even if the face has changed a bit to where he didn’t immediately recognize her. Just who is this new face and what is her past connection to Allen? We shall find out next week and on top of that, Allen will come face-to-face with Mario Malone himself!

I’ll be perfectly honest, this page is just an exercise in getting some things off my chest more than anything else.
Yeah, I know the first couple of panels are bit saccharine but I just couldn’t help myself. With that said, I know there’s got to be a comicologist out there with an answer to Allen’s question there- just what is the “record” for most times a superhero has had to do superhero stuff in one day? Inquiring minds want to know! Also, a special No-Prize goes out to the first person who can identify the classic comic book this scene pays homage to- if you need a hint, the 4th panel should be a dead giveaway if you are at all familiar with this particular comic which featured the first appearance of a villainous legacy that was kept in the family.
Whenever possible, I like to start a new issue/episode with some kind of brief recap of some things that happened recently while at the same time pushing the story forward. I think the little news broadcast here does a good job of that but of course I’m kind of biased
. It’s been a long while but the Super Scholar Award mentioned was first brought up here. Anyone care to guess what may go down when a secret teen superhero, a secret crime boss and an out and about politician with an apparent agenda come together?
PS- For those keep with such things, this is Carmen Reed’s second appearance, before she was in her normal position as Fox 4 News’ morning show host but with Brenda White taking the day off, the powers that be thought Ms. Reed (who save for the blonde hair is modeled after Headline News Robin Meade) would be a good fill-in. Some might say it could be a dress rehearsal for the future…
Here we have another new character introduced and one who we will come to know as a major player in Stealth’s world in more ways than one. I’d like to say more but I fear I’ll slip up and reveal some things that aren’t quite ready to be revealed yet. For anyone who caught the promo piece I uploaded a few days ago the words here are familiar but hopefully the page itself now makes some things a little bit clearer. But just who (or what) exactly are the Talented Tenth?
Well, that is a question that will have to wait some other day for an answer but I’ll just say again- some things you thought you knew, you really didn’t know…
P.S. Forgot this earlier but I’d again like to send a shout out to freelance writer extraordinare Robert Jeffrey for some editorial assistance this week. You can find his comic book work at http://www.terminusmedia.com/, home of “Daddy’s Little Girl”, and his writing blog is http://robertspageofwriting.blogspot.com/. There’s also something else in the works that Robert is working on that should be very exciting for Stealth fans but, um, well, I don’t want to slip up and reveal some things that aren’t quite ready to be revealed yet …
