? This page was originally supposed to be a conclusion to the previous scene actually showing Allen’s mom “being weird” as referenced in the first panel here but it was just one of those sequences that I determined didn’t work quite as well in a webcomic format.
It probably sounds like a broken record at this point but apologies for the late update. Anyway, here we see that Carrie isn’t really quite as confident as she tried to show here.
Apologies again for missing the update last week. Anyway, new character to keep track of this week with the introduction of Carrie’s best friend Terika Taylor. Also, it’s worth pointing out that apparently it’s not too cold back at the Cleburne High campus.
Not content to wait until the big dance, it looks like Allen and Carrie are set to have an “official” first date earlier than expected. But of course, this being a superhero comic, there’s a good chance things aren’t going to go as smoothly as a good first date should…
For anyone worried, I promise this is still a superhero comic. While I had to deal with a bit of a hack attack last week, you know it will take a lot more than that to stop the show!
