This, I think, is an example of where the extra experience since these pages originally appeared has allowed me to produce a better result. Ten years ago when this scene was originally worked up, I’m not sure I would have even thought to come up with the effect employed here- I think it gives a better signal of the impending doom than the witty off panel banter (I think) I originally employed here.
