I think he would go with something more along the lines of "Word's been travelling that somebody's been running around knocking down my business. Now normally this would be over with the shot of a couple rounds of gunfire but when they talk about this guy 'running around' they mean it. So I got you." "und I expect double my regular fee for this" "you can have whatever you want when I'm staring at this guy's obituary in the morning paper" "for the right price, darling, I could bring down the moon" something like that.
